Information Nerdtopia Collects

Nerdtopia does not collect personal information directly through Tap Tap — SQUISH!. The app does not send campaign codes, gameplay activity, device identifiers, or diagnostic information to Nerdtopia.

Information Not Collected

The app does not include player accounts, social login, public profiles, chat, forms, uploads, online multiplayer, location features, contacts access, camera or microphone access, advertising identifiers, or payment processing.

Local Device Storage

Tap Tap — SQUISH! stores the selected campaign identifier, campaign source, and campaign version in private app storage so it can restore the selected matchup. The app can also keep validated campaign configuration and image files in its private files directory. Gameplay state used during a match remains on the device and is not transmitted to Nerdtopia.

Depending on your Android device and Google account settings, private app data may be included in Android backup or device-transfer services. Nerdtopia does not receive that backup data.

Campaign Codes

Campaign codes select approved campaign content available to the installed app. They are not usernames, passwords, accounts, or authentication credentials. In the current version, codes are checked against bundled campaigns or valid campaign content already stored on the device.

Remote Campaign Content and Network Requests

The current version does not retrieve campaign manifests or image assets from Nerdtopia-hosted infrastructure. Its remote campaign resolver is disabled, and the app does not request internet permission. Entering a campaign code therefore does not send that code to Nerdtopia or another service.

A later release may add controlled retrieval of versioned, Nerdtopia-approved campaign manifests and images. If that behavior is introduced, this policy will be updated before or when the feature is released.

Third-Party Services

The app uses standard Android and Google Play platform services for installation, operation, and optional device backup or transfer. Google may process information under its own terms when providing those platform services. The app does not currently integrate third-party advertising, analytics, billing, crash-reporting, or telemetry SDKs.

Advertising and Analytics

Tap Tap — SQUISH! does not contain advertising or analytics SDKs and does not use in-app advertising or analytics services.

Children

Nerdtopia does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through Tap Tap — SQUISH!. The app does not provide accounts, chat, forms, uploads, or other features for submitting personal information to Nerdtopia.

Data Retention and Deletion

Local app data remains on the device until it is replaced, cleared through Android settings, or removed when the app is uninstalled. Copies included in Android backup or device-transfer services are controlled through the applicable device and Google account settings. Because Nerdtopia does not receive this local data, Nerdtopia does not maintain a server-side copy to delete.

Data Security

The app keeps its current campaign information and any installed campaign files in Android private app storage. No method of storage is guaranteed to be completely secure, but the current app does not transmit this information to Nerdtopia.

The current app does not include links that open external websites or services.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
